Contact us

Email contact@summitapp.live. A person reads every message.

You can also write to us from inside the app: open your Profile, tap the settings button, and choose Help & Support. To tell us about something that isn't working, choose Report a Bug. It starts an email with what we need already laid out (what happened, the steps, your device and the app version), so we can fix it without coming back to ask.

For a privacy request (a copy of your data, a correction, or anything else in Sections 14 and 15 of our Privacy Policy), email contact@summitapp.live with the subject line "Privacy Request".

Delete your account

  1. Open your Profile and tap the settings button.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Your profile, posts, photos and videos, ratings, comments, messages, follows, Lounge trips, crew memberships, leaderboard rows and stored location are deleted at once, including the messages you sent, which disappear from other people's chats too. There is no waiting period. Recorded ski days are files on your phone that we never receive, so deleting the app deletes them. The full list is in Section 12 of our Privacy Policy.

If you can't get into the app, email contact@summitapp.live from the email address on your account with the subject line "Delete my account", and we will delete it for you.

Report or block

Tap the ⋯ on any of these and choose Report:

A person at Summit reviews every report and acts on it within 24 hours. When you report a conversation, its last ten messages are attached to the report, so it still makes sense if they are deleted later. You can also report by emailing contact@summitapp.live.

To block someone, tap the ⋯ on their profile or in your chat with them and choose Block. They can no longer message you, and their posts, ratings and Lounge trips are hidden from you, and yours from them. You can see and undo your blocks under Blocked accounts in Settings.

If you are in danger, call ski patrol or emergency services first. Summit is not an emergency service.

Think we got a moderation decision wrong?

Email appeals@summitapp.live with your handle or account email and a description of the decision. A person will review it and explain the outcome.

Common questions

How do I stop sharing my location?

To stop for one person, turn off Share my location on their profile. To stop for everyone at once, turn on Pause all location sharing in Settings. Pausing also clears your stored position on our servers. Sharing is always off until you turn it on, and it only works between people who follow each other.

Why can't I use the Lounge?

The Lounge is for riders aged 18 and over, based on the date of birth you gave when you signed up. Summit itself is for people 16 and over.

I entered the wrong date of birth.

It can't be changed in the app once it's set, because the Lounge's age check depends on it. Email contact@summitapp.live from the email address on your account and we'll correct it.

I'm not getting my sign-up code.

Check your spam or junk folder for an email from noreply@summitapp.live, wait a minute, then ask for a new code. If it still doesn't arrive, email us.
